Among the dominant lines of our production are wooden watches. For these products, on the borderline between original jewellery and a fully functional utilitarian personal object, we try to look for less traditional construction methods that allow us to make the most of the design potential of the woods used. The main peculiarity we would like to draw attention to is the fact that in most of the currently produced model lines, the watch body, including the dial, is made of a single piece of wood. Therefore, its design flows seamlessly through the entire watch. We exclusively use wood grown in the Czech Republic. We have personally selected and completely prepared it from raw material to the final product. That is why we know where each piece grew and it is always part of the legend of our watches, including the unique serial number that is unique in our entire production. This is to say that each of our watches is an original that will never be the same again. We do have a kind of model series, but each piece of wood used is specific and will never be repeated. We make sure that the drawing on each watch has a certain personality.
Model series
Each of our watches is different and unique just like you. Yet, for practical reasons, it is not possible for even their shape to be completely new every time. That is why we produce so-called model series. Each of our models has undergone a longer process of shape refinement. It is very likely that watches produced in the future from the same model will differ in certain shape details. We usually work with small batches of about five pieces of the same shape in different woods.
Model Jas
The wooden watch model “Jas”, is the cheapest type of our production. It is a relatively simple, spare wristwatch in shape. The only dominant feature is the one-sided rounding of the outer wall of the case. As is usual with our watches, the case and dial are made as one indivisible piece of wood. The dial is usually decorated with four cubic zircons with a diameter of 1 millimetre. The 18 millimetre wide strap is recessed inside the case, so the purely circular line of the watch body is not disturbed by anything. This model is one of the smaller ones.

Model Union
Wooden watch, model “Union”, is the smaller brother of the Scala model. Both models are based on the same morphology, the basic idea of the construction is the same. But they differ in the details. This smaller model is designed for a woman’s rather petite hand. The decoration of the dial, i.e. the time markers, consists of 12 zircons with a diameter of 0.8 mm, black or white. The body is defined by a cylindrical section from which two rectangles protrude up and down, into which a leather strap only 12 mm wide is inserted. The body is covered on the upper side by a convex mineral glass with a diameter of 20 mm. This defining dimension makes this speck a very small object measuring just 28 x 32 x 9.5 mm. This makes this one of the very small watches we have developed.

Model Alfa
The wooden watch model “Alfa” is the oldest design from our workshop. After all, that is what its name suggests. Since its first materialization, this shape has undergone many variations. However, they differed only in minor details. We are still trying to find the most suitable ratio of masses to give the watch the most elegant look. The starting point of the design remains the same. The 8 millimetre flat cylinder has been settled at a diameter of 35 millimetres. It has relatively sharp edges, and a recessed glass with a diameter of 26 mm. These dimensions make the model one of the smallest we produce. The body and dial are made as one unit. The dial is usually decorated with four cubic zirconia with a diameter of 1 millimetre. The unobtrusively fitted strap of 18 mm width does not disturb the clean cylindrical line of the case.

Model Avia
The wooden watch model “Avia”, sometimes nicknamed Batman, is the first type that is not circular. Together with the Club watch, which is a derivative, it is one of the thinnest of our production. Inside the 7 millimetre high elliptical body, cut-outs are made on the longer sides for the strap, whose fit is thus exceptionally fully acknowledged. This experiment in shape is considered very elegant and more suitable for ladies. The dial is covered by a sapphire crystal 25 mm in diameter and is decorated with four cubic zirconia 1 millimetre in diameter.

Model Club
The wooden watch, model “Club”, is a more complex derivative of the previous type Avia. The basic shape is again an ellipse. However, this time the body is not straight at the top but tapers towards the edges in several rounded areas to give a compact elegant shape. In this watch, the leather strap fastening is again covered by the top of the body. So from the top view, the more complex shape of the body is undisturbed. The dial is covered by a sapphire crystal with a diameter of 25 mm and is decorated with four cubic zirconia with a diameter of 1 millimetre.

Model Jalta
The wooden watch model “Jalta” is a bigger brother of the Alfa watch. The thin cylindrical body has settled down to a diameter of 40 millimeters and is covered with a 29 mm sapphire crystal. We consider this type to be the men’s variant to the Alfa model and together they are suitable for couples. That is why we often make both models from the same wooden board. They have grown together and could be worn together.

Model Rio
Wood watch model “Rio”, one of the larger types from our workshop. The elliptical base is finished with a smaller elliptical cut-out on the longer sides, so that the individual curves follow each other in a convex-concave shape. Towards the top, the ellipse is blended into a circular glass bed with a diameter of 28 millimetres. We look for inspiration for the shapes of our watches in different ways. We are certainly fascinated by architecture. And the word convex-concave probably brings to mind the Baroque ground plan, but in this case the association with the Baroque is perhaps too bold. We leave the dial unadorned on this model. Its clean surface is only disturbed by the cut-out for the date display. The model is fitted with a 12 mm thin leather strap.

Model Hercule Poirot
Wooden watch model “Hercule Poirot”, the shape is based on a square base with rounded corners. In the three walls are formed rounded recesses. Two for fastening the strap and one for recessing the rather large crown. The upper part is not purely flat, but is formed by a slightly narrower copy of the basic shape. In the rather small dial, four prongs for each quarter-hour are formed to tell the time. The dial is covered by a convex glass with a diameter of 20 mm. This is more than a millimetre recessed against the top edge of the body. The design of the watch can be said to be influenced by the Art Deco style and in particular the architecture in that style. The main inspiration was the sweeping curves on the facade of London’s Florin Court. Agatha Christie’s famous detective in the television series lived in this house. The watch is named after him.

Model Lucerna
Wooden watch model “Lucerna”, shape of isosceles triangle without top tip. It is actually an isosceles trapezoid. It breaks away from the traditional watch shape. We have tried to hide a lot of symbols in this model, see if you can discover them all, or if you can find some that we may not have noticed. The relatively small dial is covered by a 20 mm round convex glass. Around it is a milled groove into which 12 zircons are set for easy reading of the hours. This model is fitted with a very specific strap. It is 40 millimetres wide at the bottom and forms a wedge tapering to 12 millimetres. This is one of the thinnest watches and certainly one of the most extravagant.

Model Aladin
The wooden watch model “Aladin”, based on probably the most traditional wristwatch shape ever. It is dominated by a rather large purely circular dial, which features a date marker at 6 o’clock. The whole is covered by a convex mineral glass with a diameter of 31 mm. The edge of the dial is framed by a circular 3.5 mm wide wall, semi-circular in cross-section. This central element is followed by two trapezoids, into which the masts for attaching the strap are woven from below. The end of the strap is again covered from the top. This rather large watch is unique in that its body is made from two woods at the same time. The board from which the body is milled is first glued together from two thinner ones. Each thinner plank is specifically chosen so that the two together form a contrast in colour or pattern, ideally both. This should achieve a two-tone watch already when viewed from the front. By making the dial deeper than the rest of the body surface. It is milled down to the underlying wood grain, creating an interesting decorative effect. However, this procedure is quite demanding in terms of depth accuracy and does not always occur exactly as described.

Model Orania
The wooden watch model “Orania”, belongs to the more classic designs. The 42 mm diameter cylinder, which reaches 11 millimetres at its highest point, is divided into a six millimetre ring and a 30 mm circular hole for the glass. The ring is rounded at the top and the inset glass is spherical. Thus, from the side view, a mountain range with three peaks is formed. This understated but very elegant model is one of the larger types in our range. We consider almost all of our watches to be Unisex. This one is more often suited to men, among other things because it is not decorated with cubic zirconia. The 18 mm wide strap is again recessed into the body.

Model Excelsior
The wooden watch model “Excelsior” has the shape of a 42 mm wide cylinder which is 9,5 mm high. The relatively subtle outer wall holds a 36.5 millimetre diameter glass. The internal dial layout consists of four gradually descending steps. So you’re actually carrying around a handheld amphitheatre. The hands rotate above the lowest circular surface. The ring one step higher is set with twelve cubic zirconia for easy time reading. The next step is empty and the one after that is supported by a flat circular glass. The rather large crown is partially recessed into the body of the watch. This understated and very elegant model is fitted with an 18 and 22 millimetre wide strap respectively.

Model Edison
Wood watch model “Edison”, based on a square shape in the corners are slightly rounded. In this model we play with different thickness of the watch body. Ironically, it is highest at the outer corners where its thickness reaches 11 millimetres. Towards the centre, they get thinner, right down to where the glass starts. This is slightly convex, and towards the middle its thickness increases again. However, the centre point remains below the level of the higher corners so that the glass is always protected from damage. The dial has twelve prongs protruding from the body towards the centre for easy time telling. The 22 millimetre wide strap is secured covertly in the recesses of the body, as is usual with our watches.

Model Empire
The wooden watch model “Empire” is without a doubt one of the best. It is definitely our most feminine type. The very small ellipse-shaped body measures just 32 mm in length and 26 mm in width. This makes this watch the smallest model in our range. Only the body thickness of 8.6 mm is rather average. The 12 mm wide leather strap is again recessed into the body. So the clean curve of the ellipse is only disturbed by the protruding tiny crown. The dial is mostly decorated with 12 cubic zirconia with a diameter of 0.8 mm. And it is covered by a flat mineral glass, again elliptical in shape, 22 x 18 mm. This very elegant watch will surely be appreciated by ladies with a petite hand who want to decorate it with something original.

Model Art
Wooden watch model “Art”, has a square plan of 35 x 35 mm with cut htans. It is therefore an uneven eight-edged piece. Into the completely flat top wall, a circular, flat, glass with a diameter of 20 mm is embedded. This viewing surface is decorated with a small inlay of twelve spokes, formed from dark veneer. The rays make it easier to read the time. The dial of Prim’s legendary Diplomat model was a distant inspiration for this watch. This medium-sized model would tend towards the serious wristwatch concept. Here we tried to combine simplicity, i.e. the absence of relief, with a less traditional ground shape and a small decoration on the surface. Which together should create a decently elegant piece of jewellery with modernist elements. The simple yet flowing shape and the specific colour scheme formed the basis of the design of the Brussels style. It dominated in the 1960s, when the aforementioned Diplomats were created. In order to enhance the purity of the morphology of this watch, the 18 mm wide strap is traditionally inconspicuously recessed into the body, without any other auxiliary elements.

Model Scala
The wooden watch, model “Scala”, is a refined blending of materials in two basic shapes. A cylinder 11.5 mm high, 39 mm in diameter is mounted on a 24 x 8 x 44 mm block. The combination of these two bodies forms the basis for the construction of the new model. The relatively large dial is defined by the aforementioned cylinder. It has its highest part on its outer edge and falls sharply towards the centre. This creates a 5 mm thick wall which forms the basis for the 31 mm diameter spherical glass. In addition to the tiny edge, this is supported by 12 lug-shaped lugs that merge with the dial towards the centre. These lugs allow for a comfortable reading of the time. At the 6 and 12 o’clock positions, a rounded block protrudes from the cylinder, which is hollowed at the edge from below. A leather strap 18 mm wide is attached in these holes. This minimalist yet very elegant watch impresses at first glance with its refined play of shapes and masses.

Aladdin mini
Wooden watch, model “Aladin mini”, is the smaller brother of the Aladin watch, as the name suggests. This ladies’ version is practically an exact miniature. It is based on the traditional wristwatch shape. The dominant feature is the purely circular dial, which is framed by a tiny fixed lunette of semi-circular profile. Four veneer spokes are inserted into it so that the circle is divided into quarters. The dial is covered by a convex mineral glass with a diameter of 22 mm. This central element is connected to two trapezoids, into which are woven from the bottom the masts for attaching the strap, which is 12mm wide on this model. The end of the strap is again covered from the top.

There are several ways you can wear our watch. The first option is to choose from already made watches that we have completely redesigned for you. Match the wood of which the body is made with the shape and color of the hands. The whole thing is fitted with a custom-made leather strap. The other option is to have the watch made to your liking. That is, you choose one of our models. You choose the wood you would like your watch to be made of. In addition, you can adjust the colour of the hands and other metal parts completely independently of each other. Finally, you can choose the colour of the leather strap.
